Joint inflammation can occur for a variety of reasons.

Acute inflammation is a healthy response of the body to deal with an infection or injury in the body.

It is virtually impossible to eat enough Omega 3 fatty acids in a modern diet.

If the foods we eat are not in a ratio of about 2:1 for Omega 3 to Omega 6 there will be an imbalance in the body that promotes inflammation.

The average diet can be up to 25:1 Omega 6 to Omega 3, completely opposite of what we need. Omega 6 fatty acids are found in cereal grains which make up a lot of the modern diet.

Eating cold water oily fish such as sardines, salmon, halibut, mackerel or anchovies at least twice a week is a good start.

Adding Omega 3 eggs or free range eggs and switching to grass fed organic beef can also help boost levels.

Adding a high quality Omega 3 supplement to your daily diet is the best option to help reduce inflammation in the joints.

The most highly recommended supplement is an Antarctic krill oil supplement. These small sized capsules are easy to swallow.

This is very different than many supplements that make claims with no actual tests that back up the claims.
